It’s Rodeo time in Texas!
On Wednesday night, we kicked off rodeo season by donning our cowboy boots and heading to the rodeo.  Hunter Hayes was the headliner of the evening and he was amazing! My husband and I saw him last year too, and since then I’ve spent an entire year belting out to Hunter Hayes’ tunes to and from work.  Needless to say, seeing him this go around … I was probably much more of a fan girl.
To get rodeo ready I wore this pretty chambray dress from Dana-Leigh Apparel. We had crazy warm weather Wednesday night so this lightweight open-back dress was perfect. Paired with my Cavender’s cowboy boots and a fringed purse, I fit right in with the southwestern style crowd.
Ya’ll know how much I love Cavender’s, well this family owned western retailer is celebrating their 50th Anniversary this year. With too many different styles of cowboy boots to even begin to count, Cavender’s has a pair that will suite anyone’s style. And let’s be honest, you can’t go to rodeo
without wearing a pair of boots!
If you live in the Houston area, do you plan on going to rodeo this year? We’re definitely planning on going at least two more times, but I’m crossing my fingers that we double that number! 😉
As always, thanks for stopping by the blog. Don’t forget to follow The Lone Star Looking Glass on FacebookInstagramTwitter, & Pinterest
