Crop Top Love

So this whole crop top trend, you guys. Are ya’ll digging it as much as I am?! When crop tops started trickling into the new arrivals sections of all my favorite shops about a year ago, I wasn’t sure how I initially felt. Was this something I could pull off in a flattering/classy way, that didn’t make me look like I was about to go hit up a club?
The answer is, Yes.

With all of the options out there, there are definitely quite a few “night club worthy” crop tops. But surprisingly, I’ve found more and more polished tops that provide just enough coverage so you don’t feel like you’re baring your midriff to the entire world.  If I had washboard abs, maybe I’d be more inclined to do something like that, but at present showing off just a small amount is good enough for me!

Hands down, this emily crop (also comes in solid black & black/white stripe) that I’m styling today from Flora Mia is by far the BEST crop top that exists in the entire world. (And yes, that is a whole lot of praise right there!) As you can see here & here, I can’t stop wearing this little white number. From girly brunches to date nights, crop tops are an easy piece to dress up or dress down. Just don’t wear them to the office … or to lunch with your grandmother! I think my 97 year old g-ma would be quite confused why I would be wearing a child’s shirt.  “But grandma, it’s so trendy!” 😉

What is your favorite way to style crop tops? I’d love to hear some outfit inspiration in the comments below!

Hope you all enjoy the rest of your Saturday!! I’m going on a biking adventure later today with Patrick and a few friends. Just crossing my fingers that we find a nice shady trail to try & avoid as much of this hot Houston heat as we possibly can!

And as always, thanks for stopping by the blog!
