The Jumpsuit Trend

Jumpsuits. Rompers. & Onesies.

This is one trend that has taken me quite a while to fully jump on its bandwagon.  While rompers have been popular for a while, I don’t even have one in my closet. I’m much more of a dresses & skirts kind of girl, let’s be real. {Plus, the thought of having to take the entire thing off just run to the ladies room? Shudder!}

But for some reason, I’m starting to gravitate towards the jumpsuit, instead of the romper.  Maybe it’s because I think it looks classier, elegant while also understated?

Can’t quite put my finger on it.

But thanks to this particular pretty open back black jumpsuit, I’m ready to dive right in to the jumpsuit trend.

:

Long gone are the days when jumpsuits were adorned with sewn-on name tags and solely worn by mechanic workers.

Jumpsuits are now seen all over the runway in fashion weeks from New York to London to Paris.

Modern & fashion forward women are wearing jumpsuits on the regular.  {& I’m excited to be joining these ranks with this one!}

Certainly the cinched feminine-defining waist, the low open backs, & the tapered leg make for a very attractive, updated & on-trend … onesie.
One that even the men find alluring!
Thanks for your opinion Patrick, my love! 😉

With so many holiday parties coming up in the next few weeks, I’m thrilled to have this black jumpsuit from Banana Republic in my arsenal! I think it’s perfect for that mid-week after work party that a cocktail dress feels a bit too fancy for … but you also want to step up your business casual look too.

The solution?

A fancy black open-backed jumpsuit!

If you’re a jumpsuit first timer, make sure you find a pair of heels that fall at just the right length – so they don’t show at the bottom.   Also, I love the way jumpsuits look with minimalist jewelry & the hair up.  It show’s off the outfit & your body too!

Let’s rock the jumpsuit this holiday season, shall we!?

Speaking of holidays!! Tomorrow starts the launch of my holiday gift guide series! I have so many fun ones to share with you all … be sure to stop back by tomorrow! Especially if you love someone who loves to cook! 😉
