The blanket scarf trend has officially swept the nation!
When you make a soft & cozy blanket an actual fashion accessory, you know that I’m interested.
These over-sized scarves could literally serve as blankets (they’re huge!), which makes styling them somewhat tricky. But what makes them so much fun, is that there are countless ways to wear them.
Today, I’m sharing an unexpected way to style the blanket: as a vest!
We all know how easy it is to throw a scarf on, wrap it around once & you’re good to go.
While that’s great & all for keeping your neck warm … sometimes it just gets hot! {Especially when you live in Texas … & you still want to dress for cold weather when it is not in fact .. cold.}
I love the way a blanket scarf looks simply hanging down in front and cinched at the waist with a belt. This simple trick keeps your bulky scarf in place all day, & kind of makes it look like a vest, too! Double win.
Whenever I try this look, I like to use a skinny belt, as thicker ones make everything look a bit bulkier than it should.
