New Year’s Party Dress Necessities

Now that we have our first round of holiday parties out of the way, (just a wee bit exhausted over here) I’m already starting to think about what to wear on the biggest party night of the year that is New Year’s Eve.

Yoana Baraschi Virginia Low Back Dress, yoana baraschi black and white dress, new years eve dresses, what to wear for new years 2015, new years eve style, houston fashion blogger, houston new years, henri bendel debutante clutch, boohoo barely there heels, boohoo black heels, black and white low back dress

While Patrick and I are still debating on whether we want to get all dressed up & go out with friends … or go camping in the middle of the Texas wilderness, regardless I know we will have a fun time!

If we choose the former – party it up with our pals in HTX, it’s safe to say that I am going to be rocking this pretty white & black “Virginia Low Back Dress” by Yoana Baraschi.

(You can see dress number 1 in my 3 part Yoana Baraschi holiday style series & enter my holiday party dress giveaway in this post.)

Wearing a dressed named “Virginia” I can’t help but think about my 98 year old grandmother named Virginia.  She would look at this dress and I kid you not, respond excitedly with an “ooh la la!”
At 98, she’s getting along in her years, but still without a doubt her appreciation for great style continues to find its way to come out & express itself!

With an open back as (sexy) as this one, New Year’s Eve is the perfect occasion to rock something as pretty as this.
My key-components for the perfect New Year’s Eve dress? The flashier the better! It’s the one night of the year where it’s encouraged (if not expected) to wear the most dazzling, (be-dazzled), extravagant,  sexy, alluring, short, long, low back, (low front?) head turning party dress!
So why not step a bit out of your comfort zone on New year’s Eve this year and rock something that you might not have worn to your office’s  Christmas Party? 😉
Now the question still remains: will I be sipping champagne from a flute … or drinking boxed wine out of an enamel mug around a campfire when the clock strikes midnight on 12/31/15.
Only the weather will be able to tell us, once again what plans are in store for us! (You guys, planning a camping trip is surprisingly difficult I’ve recently discovered.)
Do you have exciting New Year’s Eve plans too this year!? If so, I’d love to hear them! Especially if you’re planning on doing something out of the ordinary!
As always, thanks for stopping by the blog!
