Embroidered Boho

Good Friday morning!
Are y’all having as much fun as I am stalking everyone’s NYFW Instagrams? While I am seriously jelly, and totally wish I was there … I don’t do cold very well!
Give me Houston’s 78 degree weekend in it’s place!
I’ll (hopefully) see you in September, NYFW!
Speaking of 78 degrees. It’s going to be a lovely Valentine’s Day weekend here in Houston!
And I’m thinking this little red embroidered number will be perfect for the occasion.

See how I styled it (aka read more!):

I mentioned in last Wednesday’s post how I’m re-discovering the whole “bohemian” vibe of my wardrobe lately.
I’ll admit, the overly distressed denim is new for me. But I’ve grown to absolutely love them! Not appropriate for work, (as casual as our office may be) but I foresee myself living in these jeans on the weekends!
This pair is currently on sale for only $55! Seriously a steal!
I thought it only appropriate to pair such a girly top (hello lace & embroidery) with such distressed jeans.  The “rough” look of the bottom balances the flirty top perfectly.

I matched my ballet flats to the peach embroidery and paired the look with a neutral purse & fun bangle.

This top is from Houston’s new Planet Blue by the perfectly romantic bohemian brand For Love and Lemons. One thing to note about this top, is that the center is completely sheer behind that pretty white lace.  A white bandeau was a must!

I’m thinking this top would make a cute bathing suit cover up. That is, if you were on vacation or in a pool like setting where you weren’t actually going to get it wet.  It’s too pretty for chlorine contact! 😛

Now to grab our friends and find a patio bar this weekend! Because this outfit would be perfect for that!

And I’m also just in the mood for a good patio.  Patrick and I watched a few episodes of Anthony Bourdain’s “Layover” on netflix last night. All he does is EAT & DRINK!!! We are now craving a quirky bar and overly-intersting food to eat.  Thanks Anthony!

Hope you all have a fabulous Valentine’s Day weekend! As always, thanks for stopping by the blog!
