Sunday’s Six

While my Instagram might have been blowing up this past week, I have to apologize for the radio silence on the blog! We unplugged (for the most part) while in California and it was quiiiiite nice.

Even on vaca, I couldn’t resist sharing a photo (or 12) all week on insta, now could I? I blame it on all of the gorgeous scenery.

To make up for my lack of posts this week on the blog, I’m rounding up a quick Sunday’s Six – a weekly post sharing a few of my favorites of late & life beyond the blog.

Kendra Scott Strayers Statement Earrings, Daniel Wellington Glasgow Watch, San Francisco Travel Guides, Best San Francisco travel Guide Books
ONE
Successful San Francisco trip preparation includes a colorful guidebook, an actual guide book and packing just the right rose gold accessories. (watch & kendra scott earrings)

TWO

An office appropriate outfit (for my office at least.) This blue and white number is probably my favorite francesca’s dress of all time. Paired with a denim vest, the skinny straps don’t feel as scandalous. And even better, this striped number is less than $50!

THREE
A peek into Patrick and me … standing on a peak! We biked the Golden Gate bridge while in San Francisco and it was a truly magical experience! 7 days later, and I’m still sore … but the views were oh-so worth it.

Rose's Cafe San Francisco, Best Pizza in San Francisco, cutest cafes in san francisco, lunch in cow hollow san francisco, rose's cafe san francisco, rose's cafe cow hollow san francisco, rose's cafe brunch, rose' cafe pizza, rose's cafe bloody mary brunch, outdoor patios in the marina san Francisco
FOUR
While in San Francisco, we met up for lunch with one of our good friends who lived in the cutest neighborhood of all time, Cow Hollow. We had lunch at Rose’s Cafe where we dined on the most delicious pizza, seen above.  The melted gruyere cheese was divine.
If Patrick and I ever move to SF, we’d for suuuure live in this cute little area. Colorful houses, colorful flowers & bay views galore!

Glen Oaks Big Sur breakfast, Glen Oaks Big Sure fire pit, pineapple soludos, pineapple espadrilles, Glen Oaks Big Sur restaurant, The Roadhouse Big Sur

FIVE
Probably one of my most relaxed moments of the entire trip was when I snapped this photo. We were only 2 full days into our vacation with 5 more days of adventure ahead of us.  Plus, I had a fire pit and a homemade donut in front of me. Pure bliss!
(ps: these pineapple espadrilles are so comfortable and super easy to pack!

SIX
Who’s hungry!? I’ll be hosting a fun little brunch up in The Woodlands in just two weeks! Calling all Houston bloggers, I’d love you to join! Send me an email at lonestarlookingglass@gmail.com to RSVP. Mimosas, tasty treats & spring fashions await!
In other news, it feels SO good, but also so weird to be home. We’ve been on the go, living out of suitcases, and adventuring all week, that it’s quite strange to hit the brakes so suddenly.  I’m not complaining in the least bit, just adjusting. And secretly planning my next adventure. Shh! Don’t tell Patrick haha. Being addicted to travel is a dangerous (but wonderful) thing! I can’t wait to share more details about everything we did on our California adventure soon!
As always, thanks for stopping by the blog!
