The Perfect Spring Party Dress

Ahh the sights of spring. If this outfit doesn’t scream “springtime” then I just don’t know what else does!

Any dress that you can twirl in, I’m totally in love with. If you’ve followed my blog for a while now, you’re probably already aware this. 😉

I recently wore this floral Mara Hoffman frock to a blogger brunch I hosted up in The Woodlands. Soon after brunch, it was time to head to a Kentucky Derby party.

So I added this straw boater hat from UGG Australia (surprise! UGG makes hats too!) and I was ready to party!

This hat is just $55 and it’s unstructured enough to pack away in your suitcase without getting smooshed and ruined. It traveled all through California with me, and came out unscathed!

A straw picnic crossbody to go with my straw hat!

I was quite matchy matchy that day, and totally okay with it!

I will say, this Mara Hoffman number comes in with a bit of a high price tag, but I think it’s totally worth it! The material is so incredibly soft, that I could have easily lounged about in it (even on the couch) all day long! It’s also great for brunches, parties, and even beach trips!

If you’re not feeling the splurge, you can also snag it for a long weekend through Rent the Runway. Thank goodness for them!

Are you guys excited for the long weekend? All I can think about is how we have ZERO plans! We were going to go camping (which is always the case) but then decided not to at the last minute because we hadn’t been home for a weekend in forever. As it turns out, we wouldn’t have been able to go camping anyway! The campsite we booked has been flooded for the past week and is completely closed. The irony!! I’m so glad we decided not to go on our own. One of these days, a Texas State Park camping trip is happening !

Wishing you all a wonderful Thursday! And as always, thanks for stopping by the blog!
