I can not get over the outpouring of well-wishes from friends, family, and readers from all over! It was one of the most exciting things, seeing all of that love pour in last night! Thank you all SO incredibly much!

I’m still so ecstatic about the recent baby news I shared, that I don’t even want to talk about this adorable little outfit of mine!

But alas, I will, because it won’t be for much longer that I’ll be able to wear fitted waist midi-skirts with tops tucked into them! Baby girl or boy is already having his or her say on that favorite fashion trend of mine.

This bright & bold printed skirt from Cultro Clothing is not something you see every day, but that is precisely why I love it! It’s so much fun to break away from the every day and wear something that you have fun in.

Because the skirt is so bright, I paired it with a light blue cold shoulder top from Zara. Blue just so happens to go with everything, in my opinion!

And this top you guys, best $34 I ever spent on a top! Sadly, it’s sold out. But this crazy similar one is on sale for only $15!

Wee!!! If a midi-skirt wasn’t made for twirling around in, then I don’t know what else it’s purpose could be for. 😉

I have to share one of my favorite tricks to accessorizing a bold print. Look for one of the more subtle colors in the print, then pair your accessories off of it.

I chose black for this one, pairing this skirt with a simple black clutch and lace-up wedges.

Okay, so can we talk a bit more about baby Kerley again!? Yes, please!

I wanted to share a “bumpdate” with you all as well as a few details about my first trimester. Even though I technically still have 1.5 weeks left of it.

How Far Along: 11 weeks!

Size: Baby Kerley is about the size of a lime. (Loving these fruit comparisons!)

Boy or Girl: Patrick and I actually found out the news just last night! Our lips are sealed though until we have our gender reveal party with our family and friends next month. It is utterly THRILLING knowing the gender. It’s like the little one inside me took on a whole new identity in just 5 seconds!

Cravings: Fruit, fruit & more fruit. Oh and sweets. I am normally not a sweet tooth at all, but if I even hear the word donut or cake it’s like my brain explodes and it’s all I can then think about. It’s kind of hilarious, and very fun for Patrick – who happens to be one of the biggest sweet tooths I know!

Physical Changes: I’ve only gained about 2 pounds or so. And I’ve noticed my jeans fitting quite a bit snugglier. I also weirdly feel like my hair is thicker. Usually, about this time I would have been dying to get it cut again, but something about it I’m really liking and I’m just going to let it do its thing! Oh and I can’t forget about the dreams! It’s totally true that you have CRAZY dreams when pregnant. It’s kind of like going to a movie theater every night, but you have no idea what you’re about to see!

Most Excited About: Settling on a name! Shopping for the little one (now that I know what he or she is!) and basically getting to know him or her all the more better now that “he or she” has an identity!

Least Excited About: The fear of not being able to sleep on my stomach in the coming weeks. Looks like I’m going to have to do some research on those crazy pregnancy pillows you see in As Seen On TV ads!

First Trimester Favorites:

  • Hands down La Croix flavored water. I don’t know what I would do without this stuff! Not that it was hard to give up wine, shockingly it was surprisingly easy, but it’s nice to be able to come home from work and sip on something bubbly that won’t harm the little one!
  • These tees from Express. So crazy comfortable and loose. I have a feeling I’ll be wearing the few that I have all pregnancy long.
  • Gilmore Girls on Netflix. Duh.
  • Half Caf coffee!!! Did you know you a can have up to 200 mg of caffeine a day when pregnant? Woohoooo!!!
  • This tankini peplum swimsuit! We’re headed to the lake soon and I’m definitely at that awkward stage where it I’d feel too uncomfortable in a bikini but not big enough to fill out maternity swimwear just yet. This suit perfectly flatters my teeny tiny bump!

Thank you all so much for following along this exciting new journey of mine! I’ll try to do a “bumpdate” every other week or so, in case you’re as curious as I am about all of this “baby stuff!” Again, ya’lls well wishes have just made my day/week/month/year! Thank you all for the love and support!
