Color Crush

Blue and white. These two colors just get me. And I always seem to be wearing/living in one or both of the two. Summertime is the time for shoulder baring tops and white denim, which is why this blue & white combo is one of my favorite easy (yet polished) looks for this sizzling season.

My light blue off the shoulder top is extra-special because it’s finished at the sleeves with fun little bows. I recently snagged this pretty from Hemline Boutique in Market Street – The Woodlands.

Hemline is an adorable little eclectic shop that is filled with fashionable treasures galore. Speaking of treasures, after browsing the shop for a bit and thinking I’d seen everything, I then stumbled upon this ahhhmaaazing woven fringe clutch. I’ve never seen anything like it! So I knew it had to make the journey home with me. 😉

What I love most about dressing up in shades of blue & white, is that these colors are so easy to accessorize.

I paired this everyday chic look with gold jewelry and brown sandals that effortlessly matched my fringe clutch.

But my favorite accessory of all has got to be this turquoise stone choker from BaubleBar.

Seriously you guys, who ever dreamed that chokers would make a COME BACK!?!

But alas, they did. And now I can’t get enough.

An outfit such as this works for just about any and everything. A night out with friends (just add heels), a summer BBQ, 4th of July picnic, or even a casual lunch date. It’s the pieces like these that get the most wear out of my wardrobe because they’re so versatile and easy to mix up!

Apart from my new job (I’ll have a whole post on that next week!) and the dog days of Houston’s spring/summer, I haven’t really been up to too much lately. But I did recently make it my mission to re-watch every single episode of Gilmore Girls. Ever. this summer. So far, I’m doing a grrrreat job. 😉

Hope you guys are having a relaxing start to “summer!” And as always, thanks for stopping by the blog!
