Black Fringe Sweater + 22 Week Bumpdate

Never did I ever think that while pregnant, I would want to live in my skinny jeans! Thanks to a super elastic waistband, I’m still able to wear non-maternity outfits that I totally would have worn pre-pregnancy.

Today I’m talking all about this cute ready-for-fall look and sharing my 22-week (5 month!) bumpdate!

Who else is so ready to wear their cozy sweaters that they can’t stand it!? I’m already gearing up for fall with this black fringe sweater from one of my favorite dress designers, Yoana Baraschi! While I’m mainly wearing this sweater indoors right now, come fall I can’t wait to top it over dresses & pair it with my favorite skinnies. Plus, the oversized slit at the side is super helpful for a growing belly.

22 week bumpdate

At 22 weeks, I’m finally at the point in my pregnancy where I’m feeling like it really is “flying right on by.” (Just like everyone told me it would!) With only four months until our baby girl gets here, Patrick and I have switched gears into “legit getting ready mode” and we’re starting to fill our home with all of the necessities for our little one.

Baby is the size of: Coming in at one pound and roughly the size of a coconut!

Name: We’re 100% sold on her first name, but we have no clue about her middle name just yet. Both will be announced once she’s here!

Movement: ALL the time! She kicks around in my belly like she’s having a party. Not only can I feel her, but Patrick has been able to feel her moving a bunch too. It’s so special to see his face light up when he feels her little kicks!

Feeling: Overall, I’ve been on & off tired and on & off full of energy. I never know what I’m going to get! I’ve learned that if I’m not snacking ALL day long, I lose steam pretty dang fast to the point where I could faint. Eating for two is no joke!

Cravings: More fruit & even more sweets!!

Maternity Clothes: I’m still able to rock a few pairs of my “regular” jeans with a rubber band, but for the most part I’m wearing leggings and maternity jeans. (& I’m currently crushing on these sweatpants!) I’m also mostly wearing maternity tees & camis for layering, but I’m still trying to incorporate as much of my existing wardrobe as possible.

Looking forward to: Again, decorating the nursery! We move into our new home in just two weeks and I’ll finally be able to unbox the crib, hang her mobile & sit back and watch my sweet-as-can-be husband paint her walls this pretty shade of blue!

Second Trimester Favorites:

In other news, I’m in Dallas this weekend with a few other blogger babes. We’re seeing the sights and exploring The Big D! Follow along on Instagram & Instagram stories for an update! I have a feeling today is going to be fashion-filled! 🙂

As always, thanks for stopping by the blog!
