Colorblocking the Bump

Lone Star Looking Glass, a Texas fashion blow, styles a blue colorblocked maternity dress from Stowaway at 28 weeks pregnant.

Can y’all believe it’s already Oct. 25?! Where has this month gone!? Even though it still doesn’t feel 100% like fall in Houston, my taste of fall in Maine was just what I needed to shift my gears and start celebrating the season. We even planted some yellow mums in our window boxes this weekend! Now to actually get our pumpkins and finish up decorating the front porch just in time for trick or treaters.

This fitted maternity dress from Stowaway Collection is the perfect fall transitional dresses for moms-to-be. I love that it can be dressed up with a pair of heeled booties, dressed down with slip-on sneakers or also easily accessorized with a vest.

See how I styled it below!

Stowaway Collection offers so many adorable, and comfortable, pieces for new moms. While it’s fun to try to make “regular” clothes work during pregnancy, there is nothing like wearing a maternity dress that is cut specifically for your bump. Seriously SO comfortable.

In other news, Patrick and I are headed to Memphis for the weekend to celebrate baby girl Kerley with her first shower. We are so excited to see family + friends and I can’t wait to show off the bump! This will also be our last time to leave Houston before our little one arrives, which is kind of mind-blowing! We’ve been traveling SO much so it will be really nice to just sit back at home and “nest.”   Only two and a half months-ish to-go!

As always, thanks for stopping by the blog. Don’t forget to follow along on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest & Instagram for off the blog updates from Lone Star Looking Glass!
