How is it already almost Memorial Day Weekend? This year is FLYING! In today’s post, I’m rounding up some cute last minute red, white & blue outfit options that will ship just in time for your holiday weekend. I’m also chatting all about this mini dress + our weekend plans below!
This red & blue Tory Burch number was actually a Rent the Runway find! I rented it months ago for a random occasion & snapped these pics months ago too. Not sure why I haven’t shared them sooner, but now is a perfect time! I dressed this mini-dress up with cork heels from Elaine Turner and the “famous” Cult Gaia bamboo bag, which literally goes with everything. To throw in the color white, giving the look a true patriotic feel, I added my white Lisi Lerch tassel earrings to make a statement.

If I had Memorial Day plans, I’d totally be renting this dress once more! I ordered a size up from my usual size (having had a baby just a month before these were snapped.) But even if I had been back down to my regular size, I think I would have still opted for the larger one – mainly due to the length. I’m only 5’6″ and this dress still felt quiiiiite short!
A mini-dress like this one would be perfect for a poolside party or backyard BBQ! On top of Patrick heading out of town this weekend to see the Indy 500 with all the guys in our family + the fact that it’s supposed to rain all weekend, I’m thinking Annie and I may just stay in and spend our Memorial Day together on the couch. So fancy, right? We have a couple of fun plan B options if the weather changes though!
