I’ve never felt like a makeup pro/guru/expert or anything of the like, but I sure do have fun playing with different kinds of makeup! I recently tried Luminess Air’s airbrush system and was blown away with how EASY it was to use. The only other time I’ve ever had airbrush makeup was for a friend’s wedding. So being able to do this technique at home is certainly a treat!
I’m teaming up with Luminess Air again today to share how to get flawless foundation with their Airbrush Essential’s Kit. And I’m totally barefaced on the blog … & making goofy faces while trying to be serious/applying the makeup. So there’s that too! 😉
The airbrush essentials kit comes with a trio of priming and concealing formulas. And when you’re tossing & turning all night (pregnancy problems) these babies do a really good job of covering up those dark circles!
The trick is to start out with the Porcelain Skin Primer. Apply a lightweight spray all ova & then you’re ready for step #2!
Next, spray a bit of the X-Out Concealer under the eyes, then use your finger to smooth it all out.
Third and final step is to spritz the Luminess Air Eraser all over the face. (Depending on how cold the water is you use, it’ll definitely help to wake you up in the morning!)
This is my “trying to be serious” face while Lauren, who is shooting these photos, is cracking me up! Apparently when I am realllllly focusing on something (i.e. airbrush makeup) I make the goofiest of faces!
But as you can see above, goofy face aside, my skin is fresh, prepped & ready for the next layer of my look! The Luminess Air Essentials Kit includes basically everything you need to get rid of the things that are sometimes the most annoying: dark circles, fine lines and any blemishes you might have at the moment. And it’s 20% off too with the code LoneStar20!
I have a feeling that with all of the major sleep deprivation ahead of me, I’ll be using this kit quite a bit! Plus, airbrushing is just plain FUN! If you’re into painting or being artsy, you’ll definitely feel like you’re doing a bit of artwork on your face. Which is always a fun change to my everyday routine. 🙂
Hope y’alls week is off to a great start! Can y’all believe we’re only two weeks away from Christmas?! So much to do!! And as always, thanks for stopping by the blog!
