Coffee Talks & Mom Outfits

    Swedish Hasbeens Pearl High in Black with a Dagne Dover Small Tote

    What goes better with an iced coffee than a pair of your favorite heels and a comfortable knit (flowy) top!? These Swedish Hasbeens sandals are about the only pair of “heels” I’ve been wearing lately. I’m terrified of heels now that I’m holding Annie 24/7!

    Today I’m chatting (over my iced coffee) about my new “mom style.” Basically why I am wearing jeans and comfy knits all day errday around the house. Plus, I’m sharing this laid back boho/Southwestern look with you all. Head on down below for more!

    My Baby, My Style with Carter’s

    My baby my style with Carter's.

    This post is sponsored by Carter’s; however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

    As soon as I found out I was having a little girl, I immediately thought of all of the mother-daughter adventures we would be having together. And of course, I couldn’t wait to start dressing her up in the cutest little outfits! Today I’m teaming up with Carter’s and sharing a peek into Annie’s overall “style.” {& It’s no surprise that it mimics her mom’s!}

    Head down to see how I’m dressing this little nugget up for spring! Plus, there’s a special coupon for Carter’s that you won’t want to miss out on.

    Blue Striped Bell Sleeves

    Happy Monday! I actually wrote this post in advance, instead of the morning of posting. Which is something this procrastinator rarely does! So that’s why you’re seeing it in a timely fashion this morning.  I guess I learned my lesson last week. Nothing really gets done “on time” with a newborn baby! 😉

    Today I’m chatting about what we were up to this weekend and how we managed to actually leave the house (multiple times & semi-successfully too) with Annie. Plus, I’m dishing on this spring look and the killer deal on this striped bell sleeve top!

    Spring Favorites Under $50

    Happy Valentine’s Day y’all! Only in Houston does it feel like late spring in mid-February. My mind is set to spring, and I hardly even got to wear my winter favorites this year! Getting a jump start on all things spring & summer, I’m sharing a roundup of some of my favorite warm-weather pieces from across the web, all under $50 too!

    These earrings are just begging to be worn outside while drinking a margarita … am I right!?

    If you live in a cooler climate, all of these pretties all make great additions to your spring break suitcase! Speaking of which, my little family will be “spring breaking” in Memphis this year! Annie will have just gotten all of her vaccines and we’ll be ready to travel with her. While Memphis doesn’t really scream “spring break,” we are so excited to be heading to my hometown this March to introduce our little girl to friends & family. I still can’t believe my two brothers haven’t met her yet!!

    Maybe we’ll have some warm weather while in Memphis and I can get away with a few of these spring looks?! We’ll see!

    Cheers to warmer days ahead!

    Anddddd it’s my first non-maternity blog post in 9 months! Woohoo! Not going to lie, I’ve been so excited to get back into my old favorite silhouettes and styles. It’s been a long (but wonderful) stretch of planning outfits around a big ol’ bump! Today I’m sharing details on this look (& this on sale black embroidered maxi dress.) I’m also chatting about why I think it’s important to carve out a moment or two for yourself in the early weeks with a newborn.
