It’s officially fall, y’all! Time to break out the warmer colors, fall prints & all things cozy. To celebrate the start of the season, I’ve rounded up my favorite fall goodies from across the web, all coming in at under $100.

A burgundy clutch is a great accessory to make any look more festive for fall. I’m also crushing on the whole “cute” sneaker trend! Paired with jeans and tee or a mini dress, you’ll look chic and comfortable at the same time.  And don’t even get me started on how much I love cozy socks once the weather starts to dip! I live in them when I’m lounging around at home.

Speaking of home – Patrick and I have some exciting news on the home front that I can’t wait to share more with yall next week, stay tuned!

What pieces are you most excited to start incorporating into your fall wardrobe? (Other than blanket scarves, of course!) Cheers to the prettiest season of all!

And as always, thanks for stopping by the blog!

NYC: The Upper East Side & The Carlyle

A review of The Carlyle Hotel in New York City.

Part two of my three part NYC travel guide brings us to The Upper East Side. This quintessential New York City neighborhood is sleek & chic with some of the city’s finest boutiques, gorgeous brownstones, luxurious mansions & sophistication lining every corner.

To adequately check out the neighborhood that Serena van der Woodsen & Blaire Waldorf call home, my mom and I stayed at The Carlyle Hotel, a luxurious hotel just a few blocks from Central Park.

NYC: Fashionable Night Out in the Meatpacking District

Oh, New York City, how I love you so! A little over a month ago, my mom & and I planned an impromptu trip to the Big Apple. We divided our 5-day city stay into three “mini-trips,” so we could explore three different neighborhoods to their fullest. With each neighborhood & hotel we hopped to, a completely different experience ensued!

And this week, I’m sharing three blog posts, each one focusing on a distinct part of NYC … starting with our first night in The Meatpacking District.

Black Fringe Sweater + 22 Week Bumpdate

Houston Fashion Blogger Lone Star Looking Glass styles Yoana Baraschi's black fringed sweater with distressed citizen jeans and Henri Bendel's Ostrich Dome Satchel.

Never did I ever think that while pregnant, I would want to live in my skinny jeans! Thanks to a super elastic waistband, I’m still able to wear non-maternity outfits that I totally would have worn pre-pregnancy.

Today I’m talking all about this cute ready-for-fall look and sharing my 22-week (5 month!) bumpdate!
