Thrive Blog Conference

I can’t believe it has already been one week since Thrive
I can already feel the effects of this fabulous blog conference from behind the scenes of The Lone Star Looking Glass.
If you’re a blogger and you ever get an opportunity to attend a blog conference – I HIGHLY recommend it!
Not only did I get the opportunity to meet so many amazing new people and network with top bloggers & local brands, but I also gained valuable insight on what it takes to build, brand, grow, monetize and establish a successful blog.

So today I thought I’d share a sneak peek of what it was like to “thrive” with a few photos from the conference.

 Ashley from The Shine Project
In addition to blogging, Ashley also makes and sells this gorgeous jewelry, which the profits from go directly towards college funds for at-risk youth. Pretty cool!

Amongst Ashley’s little pop-up shop, quite a few other local brands and boutiques were selling their stylish wares in-between speakers.
When you have a room full of fashionable ladies, this certainly isn’t a bad idea!

Caroline from House of Harper.
I absolutely love Caroline’s cute blog, so it was really fun to listen to her speak and hear her great advice about how to “build your brand.”

Ashley from The Fancy Ashley
Ashley spoke about producing creative content, and also wore this gorgeous Trina Turk skirt, which I am now just a bit obsessed with. 🙂
My favorite piece of advice she gave was “to just be authentic and be you, because someone will be able to relate.”

Thrive was a wonderful day filled with good information, delicious food, friends, and a whole lot of fun. I especially loved getting to catch up with my sweet friend Meg (above) who also happens to get the photo credit for this blog post. 🙂
And now I’m just so excited to put all of the many different things that I learned into motion. So be sure to pop back over to The Lone Star Looking Glass often, because I have a lot of great things planned for this bloggity blog throughout the next few months.
As always, thanks for stopping by the blog. Don’t forget to follow The Lone Star Looking Glass on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & Pinterest!
