All Wrapped Up in Blue

{& a $250 Giveaway!}
Hello again from Florida! And happy first day of fall to you all!
Today I’m not only bringing you some pretty ocean eye-candy but I’m also co-hosting a $250 gift card giveaway to All For Color! (Enter at the bottom of the post!)

Taking a beach vacation in early fall still guarantees warm weather and sunny days, great for soaking up the sun all afternoon long.
But we’ve also gotten the nice surprise of somewhat cooler mornings with a bit of a chilly ocean breeze. These past few days, the early birds of the house (me, Patrick and/or my mom) have been heading down to the beach to sip our morning coffee together. It’s always nice to be some of the first people out on the beach, just listening to the waves & the seagulls during the early morning’s peace and quiet.
With the start of the day’s cooler temperatures, I’m so glad I packed this cozy checkered wrap from All for Color! It’s pretty much half blanket, half sweater. And I love it.
When it’s socially acceptable to wear a blanket out & about in public, you know I’m down!

I have a feeling this extremely soft sweater wrap, which comes in both blue & pink, is going to be worn a lot, a lot as the weather starts to drop in Texas. It’s not too heavy and is easy to throw on over jeans and a tee-shirt for a pulled together look.
Today I’m giving y’all your own chance to snag one of these cozy wraps for yourself, as well as a whole bunch of other goodies from All for Color! I’m teaming up with several other bloggers to bring you all a $250 gift card giveaway! The giveaway will end on Sept. 30th and a winner will be announced Oct. 1. Good luck!

For the lucky winner (or if you’re feeling a bit of shopping) here are a few of my favorites from All for Color’s Fall Collection:

We’re halfway through our week-long stay at the beach and I absolutely do not want it to end! I’ve been devouring the most delicious book (The Fortune Hunter) and it has been so much fun to sit in my beach chair all day – flipping through the pages without a care in the world.
If only beach vacations happened more than once or twice a year!
