And it’s December 1st! Where did 2015 go!?! With only 25 days until Christmas, I’ll be sharing several more gifts guides in the next few weeks to help you tick everyone off of your list this year!
Today, it’s gifts for the home! I love to give {& receive} gifts for my home, because these types of gifts are most often on display, always reminding you of that special person who gave them to you.
While I am obviously loving everything above, details on a few of my favorites are below:
1. Art: I had never really thought to give art before, but after working with Minted this year and seeing how easy it was to pick out unique pieces online, & also to have them shipped in their frames – I’m now obsessed.  All we had to do was open the box and hang it on the wall! No scouring the web for the perfect sized frame for a print.
Sometimes though, it is easier to give art not in it’s frame, letting the recipient put their own creative touch on the new addition to their home.  {If you are one … or know any Harry Potter fans, this adorable gold foil print of all the books stacked up would make an oh-so fabulous & special Christmas gift!}
2. Ice Cream Vase: I love how unusual this vase is, a hand holding an ice cream
cone filled with flowers.  The
unique-ness of it makes it fun! I purchased one of these Jonathan Adler pretties from the
Houston home décor boutique Shop the Manor
Sadly, this vase is now sold out from the shop (my bad!) but you can
still find it at Shopbop.  Be sure
to check out Shop the Manor for fun homey holiday gifts!
3. Calendar: One of my favorite things to do is fill in the
pages of the next year’s calendar or agenda.
Usually my mom gives me one for Christmas each year and I spend about an
hour or so doodling in it, writing down dates & what not.  (Writing in planners is half the fun, & I’m
a culprit of writing down things without even going back to check on them too!)  This collection from Sugar Paper (an LA based
paper/stationery line) is available at Target and the price point for these
oh-so cute organizational necessities can’t be beat!
4. Pendleton Blanket: Thanks to Socality Barbie, the
Pendleton Blanket craze has seemed to sweep Instagram …. & my favorite
places to shop! Inspired by Native American designs & legends, Pendleton
has been making 100% wool blankets for over 150 years.  You cold weather people – how cozy would one
of these be to snuggle up under while watching your favorite holiday movies?
Answer: very.  (Even in Houston too …
when you feel like it’s freezing at 56 degrees!)
For whoever may be on your Christmas list this year, hope
some of these ideas helped a bit! Stay tuned though, more gift guides to come! J
