Growing up in Tennessee and now currently living in Texas, I have a thing for cowboy boots. Whether they be brown, black, blue or red, I’m not afraid to rock them and I’d probably rather be wearing them than any other type of shoe. Plus, for those who don’t wear them on the regular, they are a super comfortable alternative to wearing heels to the office. That is if your office would allow them! Thankfully in Texas, most do! 🙂
One of my favorite ways to style my cowboy boots is with flirty & feminine sundresses, like this Clemence Tunic Dress from Flora + Mia. This lightweight summer dress is soft & airy, which makes it perfect for the Houston heat! I have a feeling I’m going to have a ton of fun dressing this tunic dress up & down this summer and adding layering pieces to it this fall.
You guys, it has gotten HOT here lately. Like what you would expect late August temperatures to be. I’m thinking it’s going to be one rough summer.
That being said, what’s a better way to beat the summer heat than an indoor summer sale shopping & cocktail party?
