Blame it all on my roots, I showed up in BLUE boots!
Born and raised in Tennessee, now a Texas gal {with family roots in both Texas and Tennessee} cowboy boots are basically in my blood. Rodeo season or not, I love wearing my boots to the office, out at night, running errands, you name it! Sometimes when I go a little while without wearing them, I slip them back on and remember how oh-so comfortable they are. Thus starting a several week binge when boots are all that I wear. 😉
These blue boots from Cavender’s are so much fun to style, hello they are blue! I loved pairing them with this embroidered dress I snagged at Zara’s recent summer sale. The bits of blue embroidery make the blue boots pop in just the perfect way. {Sadly the dress is now sold out, but I’ve linked a few favorites all right around $50 and below!}
Also shout out to Buddha Bags for this ah-mazing bucket bag! I’ve been swooning over the bucket bag trend all season long! (Haven’t you!?) But I was also hesitant to drop a fortune on a style that I’m not 100% sure is going to stick around for the long haul. At just $80 this well made go-with-everything bucket bag ticked everything off my purse wishlist & is absolute perfection. {With tassels on the outside & lots of pockets on the inside too!}
On another note, we’re only halfway through the workweek! WooOO! And I’m already daydreaming about the weekend. With city-wide bike rides and white linen night festivities ahead, how could I not be? Just crossing my fingers for this absolutely insane heat to die down. Even though I’m still soaking up everything about summer, I’m very much ready for fall – temperatures that is!
As always, thanks for stopping by the blog. Don’t forget to follow the Lone Star Looking Glass on Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter & BlogLovin for fashion inspiration & more!
