Wearing a Work of Art

What looks like a work of modern art flowing in the wind behind me, is in fact, a work of modern art.
Today, I’ve teamed up with MANOOSH to style the “Nightscape” Scarf, as well as bring a little art (in a different form than usual) into your lives this morning.
{Also, once you make your way down to the bottom of the post, I’m sharing details for all you local ladies on a cocktail party tonight with MANOOSH & TOOTSIES.}

MANOOSH is a Houston based line that creates scarves from works of art by digitally printing abstract oil-creations on luxurious cashmere, silk or cashmere-blend scarves.

How cool is that to wear a legit work of art out & about on a random Wednesday?
MANOOSH has many other styles of scarves, created from all sorts of unique paintings that you can find: here.

When styling this pretty, I wanted the scarf to be the highlight of my look. So I chose chic neutral pieces that didn’t detract from the vibrant scarf, while still keeping the look dressy enough to attend a cocktail party.
Speaking of cocktail parties, you guys: If you’re local, MANOOSH & TOOTSIES are teaming up tonight to celebrate the launch of the Susan Scarf. Partnering with the Susan Poorman Blackie Ovarian Cancer Foundation, MANOOSH has launched the Susan Scarf.  This silk & modal blend scarf features another abstract oil painting by Marilyn Bines, and all proceeds from this scarf will go directly to the foundation to raise awareness & fund research for ovarian cancer.
If you happen to be free, (& live in Houston) join me, MANOOSH, TOOTSIES & my girl Megan Silianoff (who blogs at Greetings from TX) for a cocktail (or two) for a good purpose tonight at Tootsies!
Hope to see y’all there!
