Today’s two looks are styled from Golden Tote’s $49 tote. I had so much fun browsing all of the options for my first choice.
I went a little out of my comfort zone, choosing these pineapple culottes, but I’m so glad I did! They were perfect for a dinner out during while on vacation.
As culottes can be pretty tricky to style, I decided to pair
these with a simple white crop top. I’ve
also seen culottes styled with button down shirts, peplum tops &
turtlenecks. I’m thinking I may be able
to transition this pair into the fall with a white turtleneck. Pineapples don’t
have to be seasonal, right?

The second item in my Golden Tote, the top pictured below,
was a complete surprise! As soon as I pulled it out of the tote bag, I knew it
would be the perfect top to pair with white jeans during our beach trip. The bright multi-colored print also gave off a fun festive tropical vibe.

I usually don’t gravitate towards bold & busy prints, so this was definitely something new for me.
Can’t say that I didn’t like it, and now I’m thinking that I want to incorporate more printed pieces into my wardrobe. 😉
I especially love the way the print wraps around the
neckline. I didn’t need to
pair a necklace with this top, as the design at the neckline is just stunning by itself!

I paired this look with turquoise beaded earrings, to play
off the colors in the top, and added some metallic & wooden bangles to
match my sandals.
