Shop the Look:
Meet one of my weekend favorite outfits for spring!
This casual tank & distressed denim look.
About a year ago, boyfriend jeans (or heavily distressed denim for that matter) was something that didn’t even exist in my closet.
These days, I can’t get enough!
Maybe because the “baggy-ness” of them feels kind of like … cozy sweat pants?
Not entirely sure, but it’s comfort & chic at the same time. A win in my book!
I love this overly distressed pair, mainly because as far as boyfriend jeans go, it’s on the skinnier jean side.
A structured bag, a black & cream Everly halter top with matching striped espadrilles completed the look.
(This pair is from Anthro and under $60! It’s not too often you find Anthro shoes for under $60!)
I think when you’re styling boyfriend jeans or even distressed denim, it’s important to pair it with a structured top. Doing so pulls your entire outfit together!
I snagged these One Teaspoon distressed jeans from Saks for under $60!! Saks still has two pairs that are both under $60, but they’re cuffed at the ankle as opposed to zipped. Still cute and affordable, though!
My pair is still available here at ShopBop. I still think that this statement-making denim is worth every penny at full price too!
I took today off and am about to hit the road to the rewardStyle conference in Dallas! It’s about noon and I’m STILL in Houston! This is not a drill!
If you’re a non-blogger and aren’t too familiar with what the rewardStyle conference is, I’ll briefly give you the low down! RewardStyle is an agency the most bloggers work with in order to monetize their blog! Thanks to them, all of our hard work pays off in our piggy banks! :-D. Bloggers from across the entire globe work with rewardStyle, and this weekend about 200 or so of rewardStyle’s publishers will be getting together for a weekend-long conference. We’ll be learning the ins & outs of what’s going in the blogging world, how to perfect our skills while partying along the way! I am super excited!
Luckily, the conference is in Dallas, which is only a 3-4 hour drive from Houston, if I can avoid traffic – that is!. I am so excited to get up to Dallas and meet all of these lovely ladies that I see on Instagram so very often – in person finally! Be sure to follow along on both Instagram and Snapchat (aliceksnaps) for a behind the scenes look into the conference.
As always, thanks for stopping by the blog!
