Thank heavens for oversized buttondown tunic tops from Anthropologie! It feels so good to be able to wear something cute, fresh and non-maternity this far along in my pregnancy. Plus this top is going to be amazing when baby is here! My mom friends have been telling me that I’m going to be living in buttondowns when nursing, so I was thrilled to snag this one on promotion last week.

I played off the small black stripes in this top and chose to complete the look with head to toe black accessories. From my felt hat to my ankle boots, the all black details elevate this  laid-back buttondown from casual to sophisticated.

Speaking of sophisticated, are chokers? Part of me feels like the choker trend is geared a bit more towards a younger crowd (maybe it’s all those 17-year-old jewelry models faults?!) but I can’t get enough of this 90s trend! Kendra Scott has jumped on the choker train too with this black & gold one. At just $55 (which is fab for KS) it would make an adorable holiday gift!
