I’ll say it again, I may cry if the embroidered trend ever goes out of style. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to rent this STUNNING embroidered Temperley dress for a night out with rewardStyle and LIKEtoKNOW.it while in NYC. This was one of those dresses that you just do not want to take off at the end of the night, especially knowing you’ll never wear it again. Today I’m chatting all about this dress, why I am so obsessed with Temperley (cough, cough: Duchess Kate) & sharing details on what it was like to party with 100+ fashion bloggers from across the country!
Ever since I saw Kate Middleton grace the pages of gossip magazines in this gorgeous green dress, I decided that I then and there had fallen in love with designer Alice Temperley. And no, not just because we share a namesake! Her embroidered lacy pieces are so exquisite & unique, that they have me completely swooning. However, that price tag of hers is just a wee bit out of reach for an ordinary gal like me. Once again, I’m shouting out from the rooftops my love affair with Rent the Runway for enabling someone like me to twirl the night away in Temperley.

While this dress is oh-so-exquisite, it was undoubtedly hard to part with. Which is why I rounded up three super similar dresses (above) from across the web that cost less than the rental price alone for this Temperley dress. With fall weddings, bridal & baby showers, plus all the holiday get-togethers on the horizon, any of these pretties would be perfect! Speaking of the perfect occasion, my Temperley dress stood out from the crowd at the LIKEtoKNOW.it party at NYFW. And when the party is a sea of style bloggers, that is saying something! đŸ˜‰
Saturday Night in NYC
Speaking of style bloggers, this picture is what it looks like when Houston takes over New York! I can’t even begin to describe how much fun it was to get together with these ladies each and every day of fashion week. Each and every one of them is so incredibly kind, supportive and just plain fun to be around. Dancing the night away with them at the rewardStyle party was seriously a blast!
As was getting to meet so many other bloggers that I followed on instagram face to face. I’m not going to lie, it was quite intimidating! I’ve never seen so many STUNNING women in the chicest of outfits all crammed together in one place. There were definitely a few moments where I was like … “I can’t believe I’m here too!?!” If you had told me when I started blogging almost four years ago that one day I would be at fashion week sipping on cocktails & partying with some of the best bloggers in the business I would have thought you were cray cray! It’s so cool to see how far this little journey of mine has taken me and I can’t thank you guys enough for following along and checking out my outfits every once in a while. It means the world!
