Hello fall, welcome to Texas! You know what fall means in Houston? That we can actually sit on our patios and enjoy being outside for once! Annie and I have been spending a lot of time outdoors lately and it has been such a nice change. With fall also comes some of my favorite fashions: cozy sweaters & comfy booties! Today I’m teaming up with Minnetonka to share with y’all their new collection of booties. And when the makers of the most amazing moccasins come out with a line of booties, you know that they’re going to be good! More of this look + a little life update below!
To dress up these western-inspired booties for the season, I paired the comfiest chunky cream sweater with embroidered boyfriend jeans. (Both 25% off right now!) I love that the embroidery on these jeans is in warmer shades perfect for the autumnal season. The warm shades of the flowers make the honey color of my booties pop in a way that I just can’t resist! I love that this outfit is casual enough to wear anywhere but also nice enough that you look & feel pulled together too. It’s an easy & chic look to throw on and go to any fall festival that might be on your horizon.

The Blake Booties from Minnetonka are made of suede and come in black too. The cowboy boot-inspired style of these booties & fringe details on the side give it a Southwestern vibe that makes this Texas gal oh-so-happy! Plus, they feel like slipping your feet into moccasins, so there’s that too! 😉 These booties would look just as fabulous dressed up with a denim mini skirt or printed sundress (paired with a sweater of course … #bcFall!) How do you guys like to style your booties!?

And as promised, I’m giving a little bit of a life update! While really there isn’t too too much to update y’all on, I am headed to a blog conference this weekend here in Houston which should be a lot of fun. Create & Cultivate is jam-packing my Saturday with speakers & sessions on blogging and social media marketing. Here’s to learning more & meeting new people in this industry of mine. Other than that, it has felt so good to just be home with Patrick & Annie. We’ve been cooking a lot lately and winding down our evenings with movies. I hadn’t seen Notting Hill in years and it was like watching it again for the very first time. There’s something about those Hugh Grant/British movies I can’t get enough of.
Anywho, I could ramble all day long about movies. Hope you all have a great start to your Friday & weekends. And as always, thanks for stopping by the blog!
