A Blue Wrap Dress + A Mini Milestone at Home

This is one of those dresses that once you see it on, you fall completely in love! I picked it online because of the beautiful blue and white print (my weakness) but I was unsure about the v-neck and wrap silhouette, as I really haven’t worn many dresses in this style before. Oh my goodness, as soon as I tried this blue stunner on I never wanted to take it off! I’ve managed to wear it MANY occasions already this spring and I know I’ll be bringing it out even more come summer. It feels so flattering, feminine and timeless too. Styling it below and going off topic by sharing a little bit on why today was a huge milestone for my family.

Y’all, Annie started Mother’s Day Out today!! We’ve probably hired a sitter less than 5 times, had family watch Annie while they were in town here & there and other than that she’s only visited my gym’s daycare (where I was down the hall) maybe just for a handful of times. So this is kind of HUGE! I’m not going to lie, my eyes are still stinging and I’d be shocked if they weren’t still dotted by red blemishes even an hour later as I type this. I think I was so emotional dropping her off because it was such a big milestone. Today marks the day that our chapter of “being together 24/7 all day everyday” has ended. She has officially entered the realm of “school” and preschool will occupy the chapter that is the next 3-4 years of our lives.

It’s such a good thing though! Of course. She didn’t even bat an eye when I left, there was so much going on and stimulating her only minutes in. I’m also excited to have a little more time for myself to get blog-related work done and not feel like I have to juggle so much during my days with her. It’s only two days of the week for now, which is plenty. If I was such a basket case today, I can’t imagine how I’ll be once kindergarten comes around. Mamas, did you cry too when you dropped your kiddo off to school the first time!?

As always, thanks for stopping by! I love sharing all the moments both big & small in my life with you guys!
