Fall is flying by at the speed of light – or so it feels like at my house. Thanksgiving is a few weeks away and I’m already thinking, what every will I wear?! This year, we’re celebrating across the state in Knoxville with my in-laws. It’s been wonderful hosting Thanksgiving at our house the last two years, but I’m so thankful to take a year off and whip up just a dish or two instead of the entire meal.
So now that my plate is a bit lighter this holiday season, I can put more energy into other aspects of Turkey Day – like dressing to the nines for it. Which brings me to this post and this pretty printed dress by Draper James.
The burgundy color and fall florals dotted throughout make the Martina Popover Dress a perfect ensemble for Thanksgiving dinner. It’s drawstring elastic waist and flowy silhouette are little added bonuses – making this a comfortable frock for feasting!
This same print comes in a mini version and a a-line skirt as well.
I paired my Draper James dress with bow-adorned Bernardo clogs (now on sale) and a matching satchel. For a more casual look, I may opt for flat boots and to top my dress off with a chunky cardigan depending on the day.
