How is y’alls new year?! I haven’t posted on this platform in a while. A long while.
If you follow along on IG, I shared that my sweet Daddy passed right before Thanksgiving. It’s been a heartbreaking road to navigate. And a whirlwind ever since. Life hasn’t felt normal nor will it ever again but I do think we are starting to step back in the swing of things now that the holidays are behind us. Taking things one day at a time.
I’m sure I’ll go into deeper details in a blog post one day. Relating to others’ stories has really helped me navigate the grieving process. If I can help anyone else or just be a shoulder/ sounding wall like so many were for me – it truly would be an honor.
But today…. today I want to share something much lighter and brighter. So I’m stepping back into styling my favorite pieces with you all. I’m sharing the things that bring me joy – along with my own stories and adventures in the hopes to inspire you in this space again. I’m truly thankful that my passions are being ignited again after how heavy the last few months have been on myself and my family.
So … lets talk about fabulous floral dresses for a minute, why don’t we?
Really though, I have been swooning over Nicola Bathie’s collection with Antonio Melani since it launched last October. Each piece is just exquisite. And now the entire collection is majorly marked down at Dillard’s. & I do not want you all to miss out!! The initial price point was a bit higher than previous collabs they’ve done … so now is definitely time to scoop up some these pretty pieces.
I have a couple of the dresses hanging in my closet and have danced the night away in the stylish stilettos too. I can totally attest for the quality – it is outstanding! These fabulous floral dresses are ones I plan to hang on to and wear again and again for years to come.
I mean … how gorgeous would this stunner be for Valentine’s Day dinner? Or this one as a wedding guest dress?
