Fall event season is just around the corner, and I’m already starting to think about what I’ll be wearing for some of the special occasions popping up on the calendar. Memphis always has a fabulous lineup of events this time of year, and one I’m especially looking forward to is Shotguns & SunflowersShotguns & Sunflowers, benefiting Palmer Home for Children, on September 10th. It always falls at such a great time too – right when we feel finally settled in our back to school routine. Patrick and I are often itching for a night out … and I love any opportunity to get all dressed up for a good cause too!

I kept the rest of the outfit pretty simple and let the dress do all the talking, pairing it with metallic gold heels from Bernardo and a floral bag for a little extra whimsy.
