I was a bad little blogger this weekend. Fully intending to take a whole bunch of pictures during our trip to Indiana, I failed miserably and only managed to come home with a handful.
Two of our good friends were married this past weekend in a beautiful ceremony in downtown Indianapolis. We celebrated the happy couple all weekend long with fancy dinners and dancing until the wee hours of the morning.
Here are a few snapshots of our weekend:
The groom was born in Canada, and it being Fourth of July weekend and all, we waved the bride and groom from the church and into their car with American and Canadian flags. Such a cute and personal touch!
My new floral Anthro dress is getting a lot a lot of love lately. 🙂
Highlights of the weekend were drinking champagne and munching on shrimp cocktails at St. Elmo’s Steakhouse, seeing the fireworks surrounded by other revelers deep in the heart of downtown Indy, and singing Rocky Top at the top of our lungs (several times) while dancing at the reception.
It was so fun to spend the weekend with old friends. Our summer has been consumed by weddings, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. This week we’re going to lay low and check out whats going on close by in our city. It’s kind of been awhile, Houston.
