I always wear my boots with either Wranglers or Miss Me Jeans, a belt with a buckle from my buckle collection, and a nice shirt tucked in. 🙂 If it's a more casual occasion, I might wear one of my ball caps.

While I currently do not have a pair of cowboy boots (at least not AUTHENTIC ones) ~ I did have a pair about 20 years ago. Depending on where you're going (I don't live in TX nor the North or South WEST) I would wear them with both skirts and pants ~ although they usually don't work well for me with wide (not real wide) legged jeans/pants. I CAN imagine wearing them even with a fancy (but not formal) dress or skirt ~ but it would depend on the occasion. Around here, cowboy boots would be "statement boots" and for certain occasions (like weddings or parties celebrating a specific individual) the boots would (might) be a real attention and distract the focus ffrom the actual "star" of the show!)
