A Modern Bohemian Sundress

What’s a better summer staple than a LWD? The Little White Dress is so easy to throw on and run out the door for any and all occasions, day or night!

One of my favorites for summer is this pretty from Anthropologie, designed by KAS New York. (PS: It’s 15% off today only!)

KAS New York’s collection consists of free spirited, beautiful & colorful pieces, made for the modern bohemian! I officially just now decided that I must be a modern bohemian then, because the darling lace cutout details and subtle ruffles of this white dress are the epitome of all things I love about summer sundresses.

The best thing about white sundresses? They are basically like blank canvases to paint and decorate however you see fit.

I “decorated” my canvas with a black rancher hat, silver and turquoise jewelry and a python clutch. I suppose I was in a very Southwestern inspired mood, which is something that seems to happen more frequent than not.

If you’re in between sizes in the Clarimond Lace Dress, I’d suggest going with the smaller size of the two. It’s a bit of a boxy shape, so depending on how you like your clothes to fit, sizing down will give it a bit more structure. I opted for a small instead of the extra-small, for a roomier and more comfortable fit. The previous reviewer on the Anthro website was so helpful! Don’t you just love those customer reviews?!

In other news, Patrick and I are about to embark on a busy weekend! We’re seeing the Astro’s play tonight and going to our first ever Houston wedding tomorrow night! Somehow in the past  5 years out of college, we have never ever not once gone to a wedding in our hometown. Never been to one where we were able to drive back to our house right after! For us, weddings always involve flights, long road trips, & hotels. So this my friends, is VERY exciting!!
