Today brings another edition of Football Friday! Can y’all believe it’s the last day of September? Seriously, WHERE did this month go?!
Yesterday’s post might have been all about Texas, well today’s is all about my home state: Tennessee! We all know “Tennesse Orange” is a trickier color to style. Back in college, I didn’t do too much online shopping. (Wow, I was missing out!) But ordering my gameday looks and finding just the “right” orange would have been so much easier if I had.

I love Stewart Simmon’s Brinley Sweatshirt, with its adorable bright orange Tennessee Tristar logo! It’s super comfortable and even works with a baby bump. Double win!
You never know when Neyland Stadium is going to call for another checkerboard game, and if you happen to be sitting in a white-out section, this top would be more than perfect!
I layered this top over a chambray button down & fitted knit dress. You never know what the weather is going to be like or if your seats are in the sun or shade on a Tennessee gameday, so it’s best to layer it up – giving you options throughout the day.
And I naturally had to pair this look with my Tecovas & my “Go Y’all” clutch! {The more orange the better!}
On another note, I’m BEYOND excited to dress our baby girl up in little orange outfits and sing her Rocky Top next fall!
