I knew dressing a baby girl would be fun, but I really had no idea HOW much fun it actually would be! Annie’s closet is starting to overflow almost as much as her momma’s, but I blame that on how fast she’s growing! How is this little girl already in 6-month clothes!? Since I’ve been doing a bit more shopping for her than usual lately … blaming it on the growth spurt 😉 … I thought I’d do a little roundup of some of my favorite things I’ve bought for her. I’m also sharing baby goodies I’m just plain crushing on!
Before Annie was born, I thought for sure I’d have her wearing dresses and bows every. single. day. Well as wonderful as they are, they aren’t the most practical thing for a squiggly squirming baby. I’ve discovered a love for rompers, onesies, and bubbles that I didn’t know I had. We also keep her Freshly Picked mocs on constant rotation. They are so soft and Annie doesn’t seem to mind them a bit.
Shop the Post:
1. footie pjs 2. espadrilles 3. bib 4. bow 5. gown 6. bubble 7. bandana bibs 8. bathing suit 9. onesies 10. knee socks 11. two-piece set 12. mary janes 13. smocked dress 14. bonnet 15. leggings 16. bows 17. horse swimsuit
When Annie isn’t rocking her mocs, I slip on the espadrilles above from Robeez. I have a few pairs of adorable shoes from this brand and they are all seriously so cute I wish they made them in my size! Robeez also offers clothes too, such as this red romper & the pineapple two-piece set linked above.
Two other things I can’t recommend enough: Willow Crowns adorable bows and Baby Bling’s oversized bows. These are the only ones I’ll put on Annie because they don’t leave marks or dents on her pretty little head. (Plus, they’re super cute too.) Oh, and I have to share some love for Beaufort Bonnet Company! Another adorable baby brand I’m so glad I discovered. They monogram just about everything, from onesies to bibs to swaddles. We have the bib linked above and we monogrammed it with “annie” in lowercase cursive. It’s just about the cutest thing!
Koowawa’s socks are also on heavy rotation in our house. When we’re at home & Annie is wearing just a onesie, I’ll often slip these over-the-knee socks on her feet to keep her warm. Plus, the little animal faces just get me. 😉
Another great place to shop for baby gear is Baby Cubby. Not only do they have adorable dresses, bows & onesies, but they also offer just about everything you’d need to complete your registry & nursery! From car seats to strollers to cribs to baby baths & even sweet smelling shampoos, I’ve spent wayyy to much time browsing the pages of Baby Cubby. (I mean how adorable is that floral bonnet linked above?!)
And last but certainly not least I have got to shout out from the rooftops about my cousin’s very own children’s line, Peggy Green! She just launched it not too long ago, so I don’t have any of the pieces in the roundup above. But you gotta check out her site when you have a moment! All of the pieces come in the most fun & colorful prints and evoke a classic Southern charm that’s just adorable.
And to finish this post, I know it’s been months & months now since Annie was born, but I still have a “registry must-haves” post in the works. I remember thinking that this would be something I would publish within a week or two of Annie’s arrival. In retrospect, I’m SO glad I waited. There were many things we loved, didn’t care for, never used, or used so much we bought two. Sooner rather than later, this post is coming it ya!
