Spring Wedding Guest Dresses:

Spring wedding season is here! This is the first year in several years where our schedule isn’t jammed packed with weddings, more like baby-showers and first birthdays instead. My how seasons of life change! But, we do have a couple of weddings on our horizon which I am just so excited to get all dolled up for. Today, I’m styling this gorgeous Floral Eliza J Number & rounding up a few of my favorite spring wedding guest dresses that offer a little bit of something extra – making them perfect to wear to a spring wedding!

I recently shot with Yash, my blog photographer, down in Galveston, Texas. (See my Galveston guide here!) And it just would have been a crime if we didn’t shoot a few looks on the beach! Seriously, there is nothing more fun than running around with your toes in the sand wearing a big flowy party dress. If only I had a big event to attend right after this shoot! (But I definitely had my own fun during our shoot regardless.)

I love this high-low dress from Eliza J and I think it would make the perfect wedding guest dress this season. It is on the dressier side, so you would need to take into account the time of day plus the event venue for the wedding you’re attending. While it’s not the beachiest dress, if it were an evening beach wedding, I think this pretty would totally work! Eliza J’s dresses always come with gorgeous feminine details and are extremely well-made. I haven’t tried one on yet that I didn’t think was the most flattering thing of all time.

Weddings also make great opportunities to bring out the accessories you might not wear on a daily basis too. My black acrylic bag is a dupe for the popular Cult Gaia one and is less than $50! I styled it with these feathered statement earrings from Baublebar that complement the colors in the dress nicely – without taking away from the bling in the belt.
