This Might Be My Favorite Dress … Ever

Houston blogger styles blue loveshackfancy striped dress for spring with Marion bow sandals from Kelsi Dagger Brooklyn.

Saying that this is my favorite dress ever … is quite the bold statement for a fashion blogger. With the blue and white stripes, the crochet detailing and lightweight linen fabric (perfect for summer) oh, it just has me swooning!

I recently started using Rent the Runway Unlimited (again) and through it, I’ve discovered so many new designers and labels that I am not sure that I would have stumbled upon myself otherwise. The maker of this blue dress is one, in particular, I’ve fallen completely in love with and I’m determined to rent every piece from the collection too! Sharing the deets on this brand that I absolutely adore below & styling this romantic blue striped stunner too!

The only downside to having found your new favorite dress through a renting service … is that it isn’t yours to keep forever and ever! Luckily, Rent the Runway offers “buy at home” where you can keep your rentals for a discounted price. Often times it is only 30-40% off retail, but it does make a difference! You can also still grab this dress brand new from Neiman Marcus here.

Okay, so this brand I’m now completely enamored with is called LoveShackFancy. The romantic bohemian brand is based out of New England and not only makes this gorgeous gorgeous striped dress but they also designed this polka dot number that I recently styled on Instagram. Both Rent the Runway favorites. Like I said, I’m determined to rent out everything they have on the site, I’m so in love! The price range for their gorgeous pieces isn’t so outrageous that you can’t get your hands on them permanently either. It’s just deciding which one to pick is the problem, they’re all so beautiful!

I joked on my instagram post last night that my dress made me think that it was something a modern-day Elizabeth Bennet would wear. This one gives me similar vibes too! The romantic details are timeless and the feminine silhouettes are just effortless and can work for both dressy and casual occasions. Oh, annnnd they make little girl’s clothes too. Now I’m in trouble! 😉

I styled this striped stunner with these brown leather heels from Kelsi Dagger Brooklyn. (Now 40% off!) I love KDB designs shoes you literally don’t see anywhere else! Paired them with a matching brown hat and a straw bag with a blue & white ceramic detail for good measure. This is an outfit I would wear absolutely anywhere this summer!

Is there a brand you’ve fallen head over heels in love with lately? I love discovering new ones and hearing about your favorite designers and their collections too!
