Pink Midi Dress:
I’ll admit, I don’t often find myself wearing pink. When my blog photographer saw me in this pink midi dress, he was so surprised! “I never see you wear pink, Alice!” was the first thing he said. Yes, I wore this girly color out and proud in the brightest and boldest form the other day. This pretty pink midi dress by Carolina K is one of the most gorgeous dresses I’ve seen all summer. Along with LoveShackFancy, Carolina K is becoming a designer I’m finding that I’m falling head over heels in love with this season.

I’ve mentioned briefly before, that I’ve been using Rent the Runway this past month. I decided to pick back up my unlimited membership once more and I’m so glad I did. Being able to have thousands of summer dresses at my disposal for any and all occasions that may come my way makes me feel like a kid in a candy store! Plus, it makes planning outfits for vacations easier than ever. Another reason why I’m so glad I started my membership over once more is that I’m stumbling upon these amazing designers that I had no clue about before! Carolina K is one I think you guys will swoon-over just as much as I am. Her delicate feminine pieces have boho-embroidered details that make her pieces stand out. Funnily enough, I wore this Carolina K pink midi dress while in the Bahamas last year, without even realizing who this designer was! (I found the dress on CRAZY sale at Anthropologie. Talking like $19 sale. Still can’t believe it!)

Now, this pretty pink dress I’m styling today, oh my goodness if only I could find it on sale for $19. Ha, that isn’t happening! But firmly agree that it is worth every penny it is listed for on RTR. The luxurious pink linen fabric is lighter than air and oh-so-soft too. And I just love the flirty ruffle sleeves and dark red embroidery contrasting the bright pink linen. Wishing I could wear this dress to every party this summer! That’s the great thing about Rent the Runway’s unlimited membership, you can hang on to dresses you love as long as you want to. 🙂
