Just when I think I’ve seen it all when it comes to gingham sundresses, Draper James knocks it out of the park with this darling dress. In my opinion, this southern style brand, by none other than Reese Witherspoon, can do no wrong when it comes to shirt dresses (see several I’ve styled on the blog recently here.) With pink eyelet details along the hem and sleeves, this gorgeous gingham dress works for any and all occasions this summer season!
Styling this pretty below and sharing a little update on what we’re up to this week!
This dress is aptly named the “Dolly Dress” so it was only appropriate that I wore it while exploring the streets of Knoxville, Tennessee yesterday! (We snapped these photos in Houston before we left though.) I feel like the length of this dress is just perfect for a mom-on-the-go. It falls a little below the knee making chasing your toddler all the easier while wearing a sundress. I will say, I typically size up in Draper James dresses and forgot to do it in this one. If you’re in between sizes, definitely go up one for a more comfortable fit.

Patrick, Annie and I are spending this whole week in Tennessee, seeing both sets of our family. His in East Tennessee and mine in Memphis. We’ve decided to do a little pit stop in Nashville in the middle too, because how could we not!? Over this past weekend, we stayed at the family lake house outside of Knoxville, where we have absolutely zero cell-phone service or wi-fi. And it has felt SO SO good y’all! I can’t remember the last time I’ve truly unplugged like this! It’s definitely good for the soul and something we should all try to do more often!
