Hey guys!  I’m so excited to share my Nuuly review with you today!  Have you heard of Nuuly yet? If not, let me introduce you to your new favorite way to refresh your wardrobe through this Nuuly review. Nuuly is a clothing rental subscription service that hails from the fashionable people behind some of my favorite places I already shop: Anthropologie, Free People, & Urban Outfitters. I am no stranger to the rental clothing game, having been a Rent the Runway Unlimited member for years. But after one month of Nuuly, I have a feeling my days using RTR are now behind me. Nuuly is completely different from its competitor – standing out for all the right reasons – especially in regards to my overall style and clothing needs for this season of my life.

After trying out one month of rentals from Nuuly, I’m here today to report back on the experience. I’m also styling the six different pieces I rented in today’s post too. Head on down for all of the looks & a bit more on why I’ve fallen for Nuuly, below!

Nuuly Review

How it Works:

For just $88 a month, Nuuly lets users pick six different pieces to wear and re-wear for thirty straight days. We’re talking in over a thousand dollars a month worth of clothes for just $88! It’s glorious, y’all! Nuuly covers the shipping, cleaning and even minor repairs – encouraging you to wear each piece as if you owned it.

Right now, you can use this link for $20 off your first order, bringing your rental of 6 items (that are easily well over $100 each) to only $68 for thirty days!

If You Love it – Buy it at a Discount

One of the best things about Nuuly is if you happen to fall in love with the pieces you rent, you can buy them at the end of the month for up to 40-50% off.

I can’t tell y’all how much I adored this oversized Free People jacket rental of mine. It was easily the hardest to send back at the end of my thirty days. I did consider buying the jacket, especially when Nuuly offered close to half off of its $298 price tag. The only reason I passed on it was that it’s the holidays & I know I should be putting my spending money towards others instead of myself. Alsoooo, I figured I’d be able to rent something similar and just as fabulous in my next order!

Diversify Your Wardrobe

With Rent the Runway, I was paying close to $150 to swap out 3-4 pieces at a time. Technically, I had unlimited rentals per month but depending on what was going on in my life, sometimes those rentals would linger at my house for 3-4 weeks – making the service not necessarily worth the cost.

Knowing I would have longer to wear the items I chose, I opted to both stick to the styles I loved while also trying something new too. Six choices actually felt like a lot towards the end and gave me room not to be super selective.

My November shipment consisted of warm fabrics in fall colors that would work for both dressy occasions and casual events. I opted for an everyday jacket, a flannel plaid shirt dress that was perfect for girl’s night out and the perfect party dress to wear on Thanksgiving. My last two picks were bolder – a festive tiered skirt and a velvet shirtdress that can be worn open with jeans. These two were items I might not have ever purchased for myself but I sure loved getting to take them for a spin!

Discover Even More Styles + Brands

As I mentioned, Nuuly offers pieces from Anthropologie, Free People, and Urban Outfitters. But there are also many more labels available exclusively to rent from Nuuly. I absolutely adore LoveShackFancy and its feminine bohemian collection of dresses, skirts, and tops. LoveShackFancy’s price point is a bit out of my budget and I’ve only ever shopped it a few times for very special occasions too. Seeing a few of their gorgeous pieces available on Nuuly had me squealing!

Nuuly encourages you to use the service to “discover something different.” By offering everyday items along with special occasion styles, you’re able to layer your rentals into their “real-life” wardrobe.

Another new-to-me brand I discovered during the process is Dolan. My plaid dress below is by the label and when I posted the picture of myself in it on IG, I tagged the brand only to go down a wormhole swooning over their page & pieces soon after.

A Great Way to Spruce Up Your Special Occasions

Nuuly is an amazing service – especially this time of year. My calendar has been filled with various evening events and activities. Maybe it’s that I am a blogger or social media has brainwashed me, but I notice I tend to avoid repeating special occasion or party dresses during the same season. If I know I’ll be with different people and no photos will be involved, you better believe I’ll repeat an outfit! But with Nuuly, the pressure is off to shop shop shop. You can pick your six looks with the events you have planned throughout the month in mind.

For December, I’m looking for an outfit to wear to a play, something to style for Christmas cards, a cozy at-home look or two and another piece that could work for an impromptu evening out.

What you think of this renting service after reading my Nuuly review?  Let me know in a comment below!

Now that I’m one month in, I’m honestly so impressed with the service! I’ll report back with my December findings in early January too. I haven’t picked them yet but plan to later this week. I’m sure I’ll have to set aside a good chunk of time to do so – because everything on the Nuuly website just happens to be right in line with my style and tastes.

Don’t forget, you can use my link right here for $20 off your first Nuuly order. Happy “renting!”
