12 Stylish Statement Winter Coats

Throughout the past few years, I haven’t had the need to pull out my heavy coats during Houston’s milder winters. My colorful coats mostly stayed in storage in the back of my closet until they were called forward for a trip to someplace far away from home. I’m not so sure what’s going on with the weather this year, but already we’ve been experiencing a MUCH cooler fall and winter down here in Houston than year’s past.

And you know what, I can not complain! Because not only does it actually FEEL like the season it’s supposed to, but now I can also rock my favorite cozy coats all day long. Speaking of cozy, this whole “teddy bear coat” trend is AH-MAZING. I have never worn something so warm & comfortable in my entire life. Hope it’s here to stay!

I recently found this floral teddy coat at Anthropologie and I knew once I tried it on … that it was never coming off. Wearing this coat basically feels like you’re walking around with your favorite blanket wrapped around you all day long. But this version is much more stylish … and appropriate!
