We’re right in the middle of the dog days of summer. The heat index is so high in Memphis, that there have been moments I’ve questioned if I’ve even left Texas at all! The weather feels too similar to that hot Houston heat. Good thing I’m used to it; and that I have some breezy dresses to wear by some amazing dress designers!

Since there are several more weeks of summer, that means there are several more weeks of sundress season! Aka, my favorite season. I can’t resist a good summer sundress!

This year, I’ve stumbled upon a few (new to me) dress designers that I’ve fallen head over heels for. And I’m thinking you will too! With their feminine flair, subtle boho details and timeless silhouettes, I can’t wait to introduce you to them!

5 Amazing Summer Dress Designers

Crosby by Mollie Burch

Crosby by Molly Burch is a colorful contemporary clothing brand based out of Atlanta. I have had the pleasure of meeting both of the amazing brains behind Crosby twice now! Mollie and Taylor are two sweet Georgia gems with a pension for design and business who together dreamed up Crosby by Mollie Burch. The brand’s signature colorful style, playful prints, and striking silhouettes are all hand-drawn and sketched out prior to creation by Mollie. Crosby also has a mission behind its mind, using its resources to support organizations that aid the victims of sex trafficking while aiming to empower women to be their boldest and brightest selves.

My gingham midi dress by Crosby is one of their latest pieces standing out with a whimsical gingham print and feminine silhouette. This is a summer sundress that can take you anywhere season after season! (And I plan to do just that!) Be sure to check out the Crosby site for their latest collection!

LoveShackFancy

LoveShackFancy was dreamed up by Rebecca Hessel Cohen after she couldn’t seem to find the ideal bridesmaid’s dress for her fairytale-inspired wedding. Today, this romantic and ultra-feminine brand brings the most gorgeous dress silhouettes to life with vintage-inspired floral prints and oodles of intricate details that you don’t see on just any dress. I first discovered LoveShackFancy through Rent the Runway and quickly fell head over heels in love. Having picked up a few myself, I’ve realized that once you add one LSF dress to your closet, more will soon follow!

Not only does the brand boast beautiful dresses but you can also find boho tops, billowy hair bows and even floral printed handbags.

I just nabbed this floral dress for a special event in Charleston this week. Wearing it makes me feel as if I too stepped straight out of a fairy-tale – a feeling I’m oh-so-happy to live with whenever I wear it!

Tularosa is an in-house brand from Revolve. Every time I shop online at Revolve I head straight to the Tularosa dresses first, knowing I’ll most likely find whatever I’m searching for there. The brand describes itself as a refined collection of vintage-inspired romantic dresses, embroidered tops, textured jackets and more. No wonder I’m in love!

This polka dot eyelet trimmed midi-dress is practically perfect in every way, wouldn’t you agree!? I don’t think I’ve seen a similar dress anywhere else and I just love how much it stands out. It’s one that I’ve thrown on for a trip to the greenhouse as well as a fancy dinner out with friends. Dresses that take you from day to night are by far my favorite!

Mi Golondrina

Dallas gal Cristina Lynch works with artisans in a small village in Mexico to create gorgeous floral embroidered dresses hand-stitched with traditional designs that have been around for 200+ years. Naturally, the result of Mi Golondrina’s creations are one-of-a-kind fabulous frocks. You can find dresses for every day or the most special occasions from Mi Golondrina. There are even adorable pieces for the little ones in your life too.

Gal Meets Glam Collection

Created by Charleston lifestyle blogger Julia Engel, Gal Meets Glam Collection is grounded on Julia’s own aesthetic of all things feminine, floral, sophisticated, elegant and Southern. It’s no surprise the line resonates so well with me based off that description alone. I’ve purchased several pieces (seen here, here & here) since she launched her line spring of 2018. Each month Julia releases a dozen or so new dresses and each month I seem to find one that I can’t live without. Oi vey!

This summer the one that caught my eye the most was this blue and white ribbon printed maxi dress. Its silken material makes it a perfect dress for an evening soiree! Not having too many of those on my calendar, I opted to wear it while frolicking in a sunflower field a few weeks ago! Find a few more Gal Meets Glam Collection sundresses below!

Are you still hanging on to summer style too? I sure love me some fall boots and sweaters but I can’t resist a few more weeks of pairing airy midi dresses with strappy sandals! When the season does change, it’s a good thing the designers I’m loving above will go along with it. Can’t wait to see what they’re offering for fall!

And as always, thanks for stopping by the blog!
