Annie has officially started preschool! We are a few weeks into her new 5-day a week school schedule and finally starting to get the hang of things. While I’m loving my newfound free time, I’m also missing my tot like crazy and am so excited to pick her up at 2:30 pm each and every weekday. That big grin she gives me as soon as she sees my face in the doorway is absolutely priceless!
But back to school season also means back to a routine for us. I’m a very spontaneous person by nature and sometimes the feeling of a too structured routine can be tough for me. My Key to Organized & Nutritious School Lunches on the Fly
Packing those morning lunches, remembering to label everything and making sure Annie has all of the papers & various things she needs each day is a bit trickier than I realized it would be. That could also be due to the fact that we moved into our new house literally the same day Annie started school and my head is going in a million different directions.

I love how perfectly the mini Bento Box and water bottle fit into her lunchbox. Maybe it’s just me, but I always feel like Annie’s teachers are secretly judging the lunches I pack and whether or not they’re put together perfectly and nutritious. 9 times out of 10, they are! But you know, we all have those days where a slice of leftover pizza winds up in their lunch boxes … or am I the only one who does that?!

And while I am so ready to see her learn and grow, just looking at this picture has me really realizing she is growing way way way too fast! Where did my baby go!? Sooner than I realize, she’s going to be starting kindergarten. Bring on the waterworks! By then, I’m sure I’ll have picked up a few more back to school mom hacks but until then, I’m thankful that Stuck On You has me keeping up with the rest of the moms in her class! 😉
