Signs of the seasons changing are starting to make themselves known in Tennessee! We’ve been prepping our closets for fall weather’s arrival by swapping out the summer and spring and bringing down our lighter fall clothing from our upstairs closets. I always love pulling out some of my most adored pieces from fall seasons past. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to do the same with your little ones wardrobes too!? They grow too quickly for their clothing to repeat another season, I’ve come to find.
This year, I’ll be refreshing Annie’s fall wardrobe from scratch, all over again! Shopping for her is so much fun though, I can’t complain. I’ve been ordering her versatile pieces that can be worn both at home, for special occasions and on the playground at school too. I’m up sharing some of my recent favorites in fall fashion for little girls in todays’ post!
Fall Clothing for Littles I’m Swooning Over:
Blue Smocked Dress: Annie has last year’s version of this gorgeous dress from Pepa & Co. Paired with tights or knee socks and blue Mary Janes it doesn’t get more adorable and classic than this sweet smocked look. This is a great dress for family photos, special events or even just dinner out on the patio! I’m no stranger to dressing us up our family for no reason at all.
Blue Jeans: I love this pair from Baby Gap! They almost look like jeans I would wear too! Last winter and fall though, Annie told me blue jeans were boy pants and she was adamant about not wearing them to school. I honestly have no idea where she picked that up!! Hopefully she’s more open to wearing them this year though.
Velcro Sneakers: I love this coral pair from Zara. It will match most of Annie’s dresses plus she’ll be able to put them on all by herself.
Printed Long Sleeve Dress: I found this dress from Maisonette, which is an online kids shop that curates pieces from small boutiques and upscale brands from across the country. They have such a wonderful assortment of elegant and eclectic children’s clothing! This dress caught my eye and I think it would be adorable on Annie styled with knee socks and Mary Janes all fall long!
Rain Boots: rubber rain boots are a wardrobe staple in our house. Even when it’s not raining, Annie’s slips hers on for jaunts in the backyard. This simple brown pair from Zara would match everything in Annie’s wardrobe too!
Beautiful Bows: Not a day goes by without my little gal donning a big beautiful bow! We love our bow subscription with Little Poppy Co. that delivers assorted monthly bows straight to our door. You can use my special code LPCxAlice to get your first month of bows free too! We also like to shop Willow Crowns, a small business based out of Houston, for simple + elegant bows (like this green one & pumpkin polka dot one) that strike our fancy.
Mustard Mary Janes: Annie wears this pair of mustard Mary Janes from L’Amour Shoes all the time! The soles are sturdy and hold up to her activity level just as well as her sneakers do. I love how classic and adorable they look with her darling dresses too! This red & rose gold pair are also adorable for fall.
