One Piece Swimsuits

I’ve been seeing this quote passed around on social media lately – how to get a bikini body: put a bikini on your body. It’s such a fun little reminder for all of us to be more body confident this summer. I honestly feel no need to wear a bikini this summer, but I think the same saying applies for any bathing suit body. For me, that’ll be a one piece swimsuit!

We’re so excited to be heading up to the lake with family later this week. Leading up to our big trip, I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect “family friendly” one piece to pack along. I’m not going to lie, it’s been quite the challenge! I feel like I’m showing my age when I say the majority of what’s out there is too “low cut” or wayyyy to “high cut” in other areas. At least – for my taste lol.

I wanted a suit to help me feel more confident 8 months postpartum while also appropriate for a mama of two traveling with extended family. In case any of you are in a similar situation, I’ve hopefully made the one piece swim suit hunt a bit easier on y’all.

I did buy this flutter sleeve suit from Boden for the lake. It comes in a black and white version too

summersalt also never disappoints. I have several of their suits from seasons past and am crushing on this gingham wrap suit and this bow tie shoulder suit too.

minnow swim is known for their kids suits but I’m swooning over these silhoutes for moms.
