The Silhouette of the Season

Y’all, how is it already the last week of May!? Annie is already out of school for the summer and my head is truly spinning at how fast time seems to be flying lately. We’ve been busier than usual, with end-of-the-school-year get togethers, birthday parties, mom’s nights out and special family events. It’s certainly been a nice change to have a full calendar once again!

This colorful tiered maxi dress has answered my “What should I wear?” question multiple times this spring. Depending on how you style it, it can be dressed up for a fancy family brunch or dressed down for a casual wine night on the back porch with the girls. I’ve absolutely loved the versatility of the dress this season.

Today, I’m styling this gorgeous floral maxi dress and rounding up a few similar maxis that can easily be dressed up and down for anything on your calendar this summer!

Tiered maxi dresses have become one of my favorite trends in recent years. The extra flowy fabric is flattering on any figure while feeling chic at the same time. A pair of high heels easily elevates this silhouette, as does adding statement earrings and a chic woven handbag too.

For a more casual occasion, simple flat sandals and a crossbody bag can make a dress in this style appropriate for a picnic in the park or even a day at the zoo! When I’m shopping, I love to find pieces that will work for all sorts of adventures. It makes life easier and – more fashionable too!
