Because I can’t really be a cowgirl, I like to channel my inner horse-loving wild western spirit in the way that I dress. Like wearing a pair of Western boots. It would make the most sense if this started when I moved to Texas, but I’ve been subconsciously pulling western elements into my wardrobe for as far back as I can remember.
Western Boots for Fall
Tucking my cowboy boots under my ballgown wedding dress was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!
Publications such as Vogue, Nylon, InStyle and more are claiming that western-inspired anything and everything is hot hot hot this season. (No wonder I’ve been wanting to do more shopping than usual lately!)
From embroidered boots to fringe, denim on denim & tooled leather everything – western wear is where it is at right now & I’m helping y’all shop the trend with this colorful cowboy boot roundup!
Just when I think my closet can’t squeeze in anymore pairs of cowboy boots … I see all of the new styles and I’m squealing.
In my opinion, everyone should start with a simple pair of brown boots. But don’t be afraid to get a pair with a little something extra – like these star speckled boots from Ranch Road.
Free People has the dreamiest & most unique styles I think I’ve ever seen! Pair them with solid black or white dresses and let your boots do all the talking.
Speaking of dresses, how fun are these midi length styles from Shopbop? I love the juxtaposition of a “rugged” cowboy boot and a feminine frilly dress.
About My Look:
I dressed up my beloved Penny Booties from Tecovas with a floral midi dress & this fringe wristlet from Hobo. White boots are a great way to start stepping into fall without transitioning your wardrobe entirely.
I wore this “dressy casual” look last week to an impromptu Sunday brunch on South Main Memphis.
