Colorblocking in Crosby

Our recent trip to Jekyll Island was just the taste of spring I needed to get me through the rest of the winter. Warm weather is coming, y’all. We are SO close!

It was a delight to pack my suitcase for this coastal getaway. I filled it with bright colors, floral prints and flowy dresses to bask in the sunshine. This colorblock dress from Crosby by Mollie Burch is part of their latest resort/spring collection. It’s made of a structured (yet still soft) taffeta that takes it from the beach to dinner on the boardwalk.

The focus of Crosby’s latest drop was “Dopamine Dressing” – aka to dress for the weather and the attitude you want!

I had the pleasure to get to know Mollie, the gal behind this darling brand, through our feature with Southern Living a couple of years ago. She is such a sweet and talented person! Regardless of getting to know Mollie through trips to Charleston and Birmingham, she is still such a presence on Crosby’s social media. You almost feel you know her through the stories they tell and share that way too.

I’ve loved having such connections with brands I shop, businesses I frequent and follow on social media as well. In a big, busy world with so many different options and avenues to shop and consume, it feels more important than ever to hone in with those you feel the most connected to, don’t you think?

Who are some of your favorite brands you’ve felt a more intimate connection with from following on social?
