Rodeo Ready in Statement Cowboy Boots

Modern colorful cowboy boot trends

Who all have been around since way back in the day when I regularly shared rodeo style outfits and cowboy boots?! Oh how I miss being a Texan sometimes. We are planning a trip back for spring break and I could scream – I’m so excited.

A trip to Houston in March wouldn’t be complete without a night spent at Rodeo Houston. Gearing up for the trip, I have cowboy boots on the brain once again. And whether you’re off to rodeo or not, the cowboy boots I’m rounding up above are the chicest way to step into spring.

stylish saves

Boots trends come and go but the classics will never go out of style. These days, bright color, tooled floral details and anything shiny or metallic are all the rage. Tecovas, Cavender’s or Boot Barn are always great places to grab boots at a price range where the boots will last you for years and years to come. If you’re looking for a *steal* and something more fun, this silver pair from Free People is just adorable.

on the swankier side

While you can grab great boots to last a lifetime for under $300 – a pair of intricately made cowboy boots can sometimes even be comparable to the price point of designer handbag. Which of the two would you pick!? For me, I’d go with the boots!

I’m highlighting both ends of the budget today because I couldn’t resist sharing these brands that go above and beyond when it comes to creating cowboy boots.  This navy pair from Heritage Boot with its floral vine design – so good. Ranch Road makes pairs in classic styles and colors but always with a special twist. Their Presidios are my go-tos! And y’all, how fun is this heart design is from CITY Boots? I’ve followed along with both of these boot designers on social media for years and it’s so interesting to see the new styles, silhouettes and the detail of craftsmanship that goes into each pair.

And for Rodeo Houston this year, you better believe I’ll be showing up in boots!
