While studying abroad in the United Kingdom in college, I’ll never forget how my “flat-mates” went on and on about how much they loved shopping at a certain British drugstore chain called Boots.
“Their make-up is so lush” one of my flat-mates would say. Well, I just had to check it out for myself then!
Throughout my six-month stay in the UK, I was in & out of Boots quite a bit. (Shopping for beauty products more than anything else, that is for sure!)
Iām already a huge fan of Walgreens beauty department, so when I heard about Boots Beauty at Walgreens I was absolutely thrilled!

Ladies, get excited, because 13 stores in Houston have welcomed the UK’s leading skincare brand and internationally loved range of make-up.
I stopped by the convenient River Oaks location to check out Boots Beauty at Walgreens for myself. I immediately noticed the visible difference – it was as if I stepped into the beauty department of a department store.
With beautiful display cases and oodles of samples to test and try, I was in a beauty playground.
A Boots Beauty Consultant was also on hand to answer any questions and provide recommendations, skin care consultations, and even a make-over if I wished!
We started in the Boots No. 7 area & she tried the Boots No7 Match Made Service on me. This is the coolest thing you guys!
This Boots exclusive device snaps a photo of your skin & precisely measures the color of your skin tone, picking your perfect shade of foundation in just minutes!
My foundation shade turned out to be “Warm Ivory.” š
The front of the Boots Beauty Experience at Walgreens boasted all the goodies from the No7 line. No7 is a skincare & make-up brand that has been trusted for 80 years. Best known for their anti-aging beauty serums, No7 comes at an affordable price too.
Walking through the No7 display bring you right into another little department, featuring an even bigger array of Boots’ beauty brands.
Soap & Glory’s fun pink packaging and punchy copy immediately drew me in.
Pink gets me every time!
I had to snap a photo, cheesing in front of the Soap & Glory display, with the Soap and Glory Flake Away Body Polish because it truly is that amazing. š
The description says: “transforms your scaly legs from reptilian to radiant.” Yes, please!
The Boots Beauty at Walgreens experience continued on with displays featuring Botanics – a plant-based natural line, Avene, and exclusive Colour Prevails & Circa make-up.
I shopped a bit longer, testing a few things, having a go at smelling at least 6+ fragrances from the fragrance wall & finally narrowed it down to a bag of favorites.
You know as soon as I came home I dove right into my goodies & tested them out. (Wouldn’t you?!)
Here’s a bit about a few of my favorites from Boots Beauty at Walgreens:
Soap & Glory Flake Away Body Polish:
“Superhero” strength skin smoothing body polish. It’s an in-the-shower body wash blend of shea butter, sweet almond oil, peach seed powder, sea salt & sugar. And it feels ahhhhmazing when you rub it on your legs!
No7 Protect and Perfect Intense Day & Night Creams:
Benefits include: improving deep lines & wrinkles, boosting radiance for younger looking skin. I’ve really only started using anti-aging products this past year, and I’ve already noticed a difference! (You can never start too early when it comes to keeping your skin in tip top shape for the long-haul … and especially if you happened to be a life-guard every summer throughout high school! #guilty)
Why I love this cream – it’s super soft to the touch & the moisturizing component lasts all day! The day cream has SPF & the night cream softens & restores the skin all while you sleep. š
Botanics Shine Away Ionic Clay Mask:
It’s Botanics top selling product for a reason! This inky green clay mask removes impurities and deeply cleanses the skin. It’s oceanic minerals help draw out deep-rooted impurities without over drying your face. It’s like giving yourself a spa treatment at home. I felt so good after trying it out, (& my skin looked amazing!) that I convinced my husband to try it too! He looks great in green, y’all!
I really could go on all day about my favorites from Boots Beauty at Walgreens, but it would probably turn this blog post into a novel. š
